At the Seattle International Film Festival 2010, Alisha was awarded ‘Special Jury Prize.

Their jury statement reads: For telling a gripping story, creating compelling images, knowing how to cast his lead, directing her to captivate the audience, and, for his tenacity and dedication to becoming a filmmaker.
